Mask Update

Governor Newsom has stated that after March 11, 2022, masks will no longer be required in schools for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, but will be strongly recommended. Beginning March 12th, LUHSD will no longer require masks to be worn, however, those who wish to continue to wear them will certainly be allowed to do so. In the community, masks will still be required in high transmission settings like public transit, emergency shelters, health care settings, correctional facilities, homeless shelters and long-term care facilities. Our school buses are considered a school setting, so masks will no longer be required beginning March 12th.

Managing News Stories

Summary text is best limited to 1-3 sentences, and featured images will look best if all ratios match (current ratio 2x3 landscape). This is an example story.

News Alerts

Urgent stories can be given an alert for parents or community members. This will generate a popup box when you log in, and you can opt to read the full story, dismiss the message once, or opt to not show again. You may set an expiration for the alert.

News without Images

Adding images to your news stories is optional. It may look best if adjacent stories match each other to keep your quadrant looking clean and even.
